MERC’s mechanical design proficiency integrates advanced engineering analysis, real-world testing, and simulated lab testing to ensure precision and reliability at every step. From fabricating custom test fixtures to conducting comprehensive lab testing, our team guarantees accuracy and efficiency. MERC’s reverse engineering capability includes scanning, wiring and electronics, and materials evaluation to provide a one-stop solution for any mechanical, structural, or electronics needs. Our personnel have experience in reverse engineering components using existing technical data such as incomplete drawings or load requirements, physical parts, traditional metrology equipment, and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM). MERC’s fully equipped mechanical fabrication shop with a high-bay assembly area allows us to produce prototypes for testing and/or aircraft or support equipment installation.

MERC has extensive experience generating technical data for Technical Orders (TOs) and Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs). We have provided services for numerous Air Force platforms as well as ground support equipment.
Learn MoreNDI/Corrosion
MERC maintains both advanced Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) and Level III certification in support of critical and routine customer requirements. MERC, along with Mercer University chemistry professors, have provided cutting-edge corrosion technology to detect corrosion before it is able to be identified by a visual inspection.
