MERC has extensive experience with the design, development and hosting of both Microsoft Structured Query Language Server and Oracle database servers. We are also familiar with using other database products from MySQL to MongoDB or Elasticsearch.
MERC’s engineering team spends thousands of hours annually in developing and managing complex databases and the associated server enclaves. The C-130 Automated Inspection, Repair, Corrosion, and Aircraft Tracking (AIRCAT) system is one example.
AIRCAT collects and processes C-130 flight data to support the Program Office’s Individual Aircraft Tracking Program (IATP) for the life of the aircraft. Flight usage data is uploaded to AIRCAT, stored, and then processed in near real-time. AIRCAT automatically calculates service life, generates and tracks inspections, and schedules component replacements.
Our team of cybersecurity specialists and system administrators ensure the safe and secure operation of each enclave by following both the National Institute of Standards and Technology Special Publications 800-171A and 800-53.
