Four summer interns are currently supporting AIRCAT, the Automated Inspection, Repair, Corrosion, and Aircraft Tracking system developed by MERC for the C-130. For over 20 years, AIRCAT has helped users track flight data and structural issues such as corrosion and cracks to generate a more complete picture of aircraft conditions to ensure the safety and reliability of the current aircraft fleet.

Layton Moore (Middle GA State) is developing, documenting, and executing test scripts while gaining hands-on experience with secure software testing, vulnerability analysis, and cybersecurity tools.
Liam Middleton (Kennesaw State) is building python scripts to automate and streamline security testing and report generation for AIRCAT.
Jalil Hemphill (Northwestern) is working on SMART (Scheduled Maintenance Analysis & Reliability Tool) tests in C# with Selenium.
David Schmitz (Georgia Tech) is implementing and maintaining AIRCAT web application features using C#, JavaScript, and HTML.
