"There are several facets of MERC that made a lasting impression at the time of my initial encounter here with a visitor badge. First, I found the staff to be extremely sharp in technical and engineering matters. Their capability and confidence was matched only by their unpretentious, friendly camaraderie. The MERC facility was equally impressive, being very modern, professional and spacious. In most places that look-and-feel ends rather unceremoniously when you step through the lobby into the engineering office area; not so at MERC. The analytical and engineering tools were clearly state-of-the-art, and the problems being solved were quite sophisticated and challenging. Finally, it struck me as rather remarkable to find all of this, not in a crowded urban-sprawl scene, but in a slower-paced atmosphere that is a great place to raise a family. Having worn an employee badge for several years now, I find these impressions unchanged despite MERC’s growth; this continues to be a fantastic place to work."

“When I relocated to the Macon/Warner Robins, GA area eight years ago I left a company I had been with for 18 years so I felt like I was basically starting over. However, the quality of work and home life I have found in Warner Robins and at the Mercer Engineering Research Center has surpassed anything I could have dreamed of for myself! MERC is an incredible family of caring professionals. My husband and I love the schools and the feeling of community in Warner Robins, but we also enjoy the cultural and shopping opportunities just thirty minutes away in Macon, Ga. We consider it a real bonus that we can jump in the car for a long weekend and take off for Savannah, Atlanta, the mountains or the beach – all located just a few hours away!”
“I joined the Mercer Engineering Research Center two and a half years ago not knowing quite what to expect. After working my way through school with a large Fortune 500 company I wanted to take my career in a new direction. As I neared graduation, and my family began to grow, I realized some things were more important than stock options – like great schools in a safe community to raise my kids. I also hoped to join an organization involved in more worthwhile work. I found that environment here at MERC, and in the Warner Robins community. It turned out to be the best decision my family has ever made!”
