MH-53 Flight Engineer Seat Prototype
Using CAD solid modeling, a seat mounting system was designed to meet these goals. Concurrent testing and analysis were performed to validate the design. The design and resulting part drawings were used to create a prototype assembly, which was installed in an MH-53 for functional check. After trial installation, the seat system was installed in several dozen aircraft for use by the Air Force.
